Medical Trust Hospital commemorated International Women’s Day with a meaningful outreach program held at the Bar Association Hall, Ernakulam District Court. The event brought together members of the legal community for a day focused on health awareness, early detection, and preventive care.
The program was formally inaugurated by Smt. Honey M. Varghese, Principal District Judge, Ernakulam, who highlighted the importance of prioritizing women’s health and well-being alongside demanding professional responsibilities.
An informative seminar session was conducted by Dr. Annie A. Pulikkal, Consultant Endocrinologist, and Dr. Varun Rajan, Consultant Medical & Haemato Oncologist. The session focused on key health concerns affecting women, including hormonal health, cancer awareness, early detection, and the importance of regular screenings.
As part of the initiative, a comprehensive health screening camp was also organized for the participants. The screening was led by our team of specialists, including Dr. Jino Joy, Consultant Geriatrician, Dr. Harikumar A.N, and Dr. Sona Azad, ensuring personalized attention and expert medical guidance.
The event, conducted on the occasion of International Women’s Day, served as a step towards empowering women with knowledge, encouraging preventive healthcare practices, and reinforcing Medical Trust Hospital’s commitment to community health and wellness.
